As many of you may already know, I got engaged 5 days ago! This has been a looooong time coming, and I am just so overjoyed that my dreams are finally coming true! I have a beautiful ring to prove it. (Actually, 2 rings, one from etsy.com and one from Zales. I am currently wearing the etsy one for 2 weeks as a backup while the zales one is being resized).
Life is truly grand, especially with Lars by my side. Engagement would seem really scary to me if it was to anyone else but him. He makes me feel so at ease, and he pursues me and loves me and never gives up on me! We have been through so much turmoil & tragedy, and also so many good times, that I feel like we can handle the ups and downs of marriage pretty swimmingly :) He is my best friend, hands down.
We have done hardly any wedding planning, but I am chomping at the bit to start! I have a wonderful wedding planner already and I have been collecting ideas for over a year. I would appreciate everyone's prayers! There are so many mutual decisions that we will be making and I want our life together to start in the best, most wonderful way possible!
Also, we are considering making a new blog for us as a couple and deleting this one! Any blog name ideas?
